We had to create a short book from a short piece of text of our choosing. The format and style of the book had to be something that represented the text appropriately. I choose to use Marilyn Manson's Blame and Violence speech.
The concept was simple. I created double page spreads with the original text on one side and a distorted view of that same text behind it. This was then printed onto tracing paper and french folded making the original text appear as distorted as the text behind it.
